Playing With Family & Friends
During the Fall Break in Provo my Grandparents came into town. So on the 16th and 17th my family came and picked me up and we went down to Bryce Canyon. It was perfect weather. The sun was out and it was warm. It was so fun hiking and spending the weekend with family. The next week of school wasn't too bad. And Friday the 23rd was a pretty exciting day. My best friend opened his mission call and is going to the Montreal, Canada French speaking mission. I'm so excited for him.
Since there's really nothing to do here in Ephraim, my roommates and I went up to Provo for Saturday. We stopped by my house and spent a little bit of time with my family then went to do some shopping. We were also able to get midnight tickets to see New Moon when it comes out. That is going to be way fun. My roommates have a friend who is going to BYU so we went and saw her apartment and then we all went to Denny's to eat dinner and wait for the traffic to die down after the depressing BYU game.
Since Halloween is just right around the corner, for our ward on Monday night we carved pumpkins. Sadly I don't have a picture of it but it was fun to carve it together for our apartment. Last night our apartment complex had a little mini Halloween party and we watched "The Ring" at our clubhouse. And what is Halloween without it getting cold? It snowed yesterday but it did not stick. However, when I woke up this morning and was going to classes I was greeted at my front door with about 3 inches of snow. The entire campus is covered in snow and it is still snowing!
(Sadly I cannot put pictures up because I have to do it on my home computer. But they will come soon!)

An awaited update
So I thought I was going to do really well at updating often. Sadly, that hasn't happened recently. So now its time for an update. During the week I just go to school, come home and do homework until late at night and then go to bed. All my homework that I get usually takes up all my time except on the weekends. I have gone home the past weekends and spent time there hanging out with my family and friends. And of course going to BYU Football games. Last week was my Fall Break so I went home Wednesday afternoon and was home until Sunday night. Thursday I hung out with Mom and worked on some service projects. Friday mom and I made lunch and dessert and Erin and I had some friends over during their lunch break from school. Friday night Dad, Mom, Erin, and I went to the BYU Football game. It was cold but so fun.
Saturday for the first session of Conference we went up to the mountains and listened to it on the radio while having a camp fire. Then we cooked hot dogs and roasted marshmallows. Erin and I spent the afternoon session cleaning her room. And then while the boys went to the Priesthood session we just hung out at our house. Sunday we had family come over for the sessions and of course had our brunch with egg casserole and cinnamon rolls. This week of school has now been crazy. There are a bunch of stuff my teachers have given us. And to top it off, yesterday morning I woke up with a cold. And today its even worse. I just hate being sick.

Labor Day Weekend
I came home for Labor Day Weekend and it was so fun. Friday I hung out with a bunch of my friends that I haven't seen in forever. Saturday we went boating in the morning and then spent the day at 7 peaks. I love going and playing there and I definitely miss working there with all my friends, so I was able to see them again. That night I hung out with some of my girl friends. Sunday we went to church and spent the day as a family. Monday we went mini golfing and did some other activities at Trafalga. And now I have uploaded all the pictures that I have on the computer finally. So some of them are random and don't really go with this post exactly, but oh well.

Down Here In No Mans Land
I have now been down here at school for two weeks. I'm still not totally adjusted to living away from home but it is getting better. Classes are going good. I'm not making this semester hard on me, which is good because that means I won't get too stressed. My roommates are all very nice and we have been hanging out quite a bit and getting comfortable with each other. My first weekend I went home. It was nice because even though I was only away for a few days it made me feel comfortable and gave me some strength to be able to come back for two weeks before I go home again for Labor Day weekend.
This past weekend though we all stayed here and hung out as roommates. Which brings me to the title of this post. There is seriously almost nothing to do down here. There is only like one movie theater and I think it only has like two screens. And they aren't playing any movies that interest any of us. So, Friday night we walked to the Malt Shop for dinner and got a movie to watch from Redbox. One of my roommates had never made cookies from scratch, so using my amazing cookie cooking skills, I taught her how to make some. They were delicious! Saturday we all kind of slept in and did some homework. When Saturday night rolled around what else do you do down here besides go to a County Fair? So we drove to Manti and enjoyed all the lovely smelly farm animals there. We came home and watched another movie and made a cake in honor of Michael Jackson's birthday. Weird for me to celebrate that I know, but I got cake out of it. :)Last night we had an opening Ward Social and made some welcome signs.
Pictures are still coming, I need to get them from Erin and put mine still on the computer at home. Hopefully I will get some on here this weekend when I go home. Nothing else really exciting has happened down here in no mans land...

Time For School
Today was the day that I moved down to Ephraim to go to school at Snow College. We did most of the packing last night, took a boating trip this morning on perfect water, came home to finish packing, and then drove down to the college. Dad, Mom, Erin, and I arrived here and got all the loose ends tied up and then we moved me in. I am living in an apartment called Park Place (like a little town house) with 5 other girls who are all very nice. The four of us went out to dinner and they just left to drive home leaving me sad and already missing them. School starts tomorrow so we will see how that adventure goes. The pictures we took today are on Erin's camera so they will be posted later.

The Last Few Months
2 months is a long time, so instead of going through all of the boring details I will just highlight some of the main events that happened. April was kind of a slow month with just my Birthday, School, Friends, Region for A Cappella, and a few other random things. The beginning of May Dad had two mini conferences in Florida. So to help fill in the time in between them, Mom, Erin, and I joined him for a week to spend the days in the Disney World Parks. It was so nice to get away from school (even though it was almost over) and just relax in one of the happiest places on earth. My friend moved to Florida a year ago and so we had him join us on Friday when we went to Magic Kingdom.
When we came back time was spent catching back up in school as the end of the school year was approaching. How else do you end the school year but to go to a dance? I went to Senior Ball with my boyfriend, Kai. We went power tumbling, had a picnic, went to the dance and dinner at a nice Reception Center, and then finished the night at my friends house playing games and eating ice cream. I graduated last Friday from High School. It is both terribly exciting and frighting. But I'm surviving. And on Wednesday I went up to Salt Lake with Grandma to pick up Amanda and Aimee from the airport. It was so fun just spending the day with them.

Morp
Friday night was Morp. It was a blast! The theme was Disco Fever. We made shirts to go along with the theme, and they turned out amazing. We went mini-golfing at Trafalga, had a barbecue at my house, Dad took our pictures outside, went to the dance, and then went to my friend's house for cake, ice cream, and games. It was Brian's (my date) birthday, so we had a big birthday cake and made him blow out candles. He was so surprised, which made me happy because I thought he would have figured it out by then, since everyone else knew.

Tour
Wednesday morning, I left for California for
A Cappella/Orchestra Tour. We spent all day driving and arrived at the hotel late at night. Thursday we went to Disneyland and was able to play around the park for a while and also hop over to California Adventure. We also did a workshop back stage at Disney. Friday we went to the Aquarium, had a workshop at Long Beach University, and then went to go see Phantom of the Opera. It was amazing! Saturday we went back to Disneyland where we performed in Toon Town and spent the rest of the day playing around again. We hopped on the bus Sunday morning after a wonderful morning side and arrived back at the school at about 10:30 pm. It was so much fun and it was so great to get a break from school and play with all of my friends!

Happy Birthday Mom!
This post is dedicated to my Mom. It was her Birthday yesterday and it was so much fun to spend the weekend celebrating it. We had a big Birthday dinner Friday night where we celebrated my Uncle's Birthday as well and then last night we had dinner with the 4 of us left at home and had cake and ice cream. I love you Mom and Happy Birthday!
